The House of Asa is situated in the North of Rome, in the Monte Mario - Via Trionfale area the most elevated area which overlooks the Vatican City and the Olympic stadium.

From the Monte Mario area guests can reach the historic centre by day and night buses which reach Piazza Venezia, from where the Colosseum and the Fori Imperiali is only a five minute walk, otherwise guests have the possibility to stop at Piazza Augusto Imperatore, and walk along the Via del Corso, and Via Frattini area where the shopping is world renowned.

I f your intention is to visit the Vatican Museums and the Trastevere where the famous Porta Portese market is held on Sundays, then Guests just have to arrive at the Monte Mario station (only 800m from the Casa di Asa) and board the FM3 urban train that will take them four stops down the line to the San Pietro station, in front of the Basilica, or a stroll to the Trastevere.

I was forgetting to mention that the Monte Mario area, and particularly the part in which we are situated, is dominated by residential villas of the early 900's, immersed in tranquil greenery, where all the necessary services are available, form supermarkets, family run restaurants where authentic Roman cooking is still served.

EXITING THE TRAIN STATION WALK STRAIGHT AHEAD AND FIND THE BUS STOP ‘TROYA' ON VIA VINCENZO TROYA, TAKE THE BUS 913 (EVERY 6 MIN) FOR 3 STOPS THEN GET OFF AND WALK 100 MT WHERE YOU WILL FIND VIA ACHILLE MAURI WE ARE THERE AT NUMBER 13.
